At Easter we had a relaxing dabble, enjoying homemade Simnel cake, and having a sort of the yarn and squares made.

This week there was a request for baby boy blankets by MKBabybasics, so we spent the afternoon making squares and then Hillery took them home and joined them all up into a crib blanket.
We all made come of these hexagons. Having chosen a colour pallet, we beavered away making the hexies, and then a few ladies joined them all together using the jpin as you go method.
A lovely project that has been gone to a good home, and the money raised went to charity,

We have decided to make squares in a view to get crocheting, some ladies are learning and others don't do much crochet.
Using our new skills in bag making, we delved into the bag of fabric and made lots and lots of 'gift bags'.
Another 2021 project, part of the jubilee celebrations a few of us thought we would make something for the jubilee, just for fun.
Not quite a dabble session, but one afternoon I brought my yarn winder, and sat and sorted out some of the messy yarn.
