More information on the above:

Granny squares
We are going to do granny squares when we have no project for the afternoon.  We will get some packs together for each member and just do a square every now and again, towards the end of year we can make into a blanket.

Finger knitting demo (Helen)
Helen to do a demo.

Slow stitching
Need to decide on what to make to get size required
Easter flowers
Collect Easter props, baskets, twigs, nests, rings etc.

Decoupage eggs
Collect eggs - from boiled eaten top removed, blown, polystyrene in our possession.  Tissue paper, thin patterned paper, fabric or napkins in Easter colours

Big needle knitting
Lydia to investigate big needle knitting eg bags and see what we can do.  And also if anyone else has some ideas.  do we have any big needles or yarn?

Christmas wreath and table decoration
As part of Christmas decorations we could make a few things ahead, eg orange peel, dry oranges, paint cones, gather dried material.  We will continue to avoid using florist foam, and use more sustainable mateerials

Jewellery - bracelet with memory wire
Collect beads and need to check how much wire we have.

Jewellery - using wooden blank for earrings
Cathy and I are going to have a go with this sometime, and will use as gifts

Decoupage
Collect things that would make a great box/container for a present.  Also tin cans that are already white inside, glass jars.  We can decorate lid of any jar with copper leaf.
Using fabric, tissue paper or napkins

Christmas/wrapping drawstring bags
Drawstring bags made easy.  I will show you how to make an unlined bag, with a buttonhole for the drawstring.  Or also if you have any lace pillowcases or mid-century lace chairbacks/old table cloths etc I can show you ways to make them into gift bags.  Especially if they are stained or damaged.

Cooking for Christmas
Think of things that would like to make ready for November, and collect some nice bits to use to gift the items made.  We could also do flavoured oils, need to plan what we need.

Candle Making
We will buy candle wax and some scent and make poured candles.  These will be poured into glass jar,s glass dishes, tins etc, any of these can be decorated using decoupage paper or fabric beforehand.

Fair isle knitting
Hillary to demonstrate how to do fair isle knitting, and we will give it a go.  Prior to dabble we will need to have gathered some materials together including having created a piece of knitting to start fair isle on.
