After Easter we decided to do a bit of cookery......




Judy demonstrated how to make honeycomb/cinder toffee.  Great fun, and of course we had to test it.


Adding bicarb to hot sugar syrup



Lydia also demonstrated how to make a meringue in the microwave, just be egg whites and icing sugar.  Great for crumbling into an eton mess.


sadly out of focus, but we all had tea/coffee afterwards, as usual we all learnt something and had a natter too.
