You will need to open WhatsApp on your phone to link them.

If you select the @ in your group message you will be presented by a list of names and you can select them, and they will get a nudge.

You can select some smilies on a reply so that the poster can see your reaction without writing a reply.  On your phone just hold your finger on the post, and it will give you a selection.  On the PC mouse over the reply and you will see a smilie icon next to each, click on it.

You can archive a group if you do not wish the group to be on your main list and it will automatically turn off the notifications:

Go to your list of groups and hold down on the group until it highlights and the top of the screen looks like this, press the icon highlighted and this will put into archived list.
