We did some Christmas cooking, for a couple of weeks.
the first week we made the following:
Blanched and roasted almonds
Large Medjool dates stuffed with marzipan and/or roasted almonds
Peanut butter cups
and basically coated some or all of the above in chocolate
the following week where I forgot to take photos, we learnt how to make cheese thins, and that we could freeze them before baking and cook from frozen, adding sesame/poppy seeds along the way, very tasty.
We also discussed how to make cranberry gin, and a couple of us made it.
and then took it a step further and made hampers adding to the items I learnt to make....
This year we did a "florist foam free" Christmas.
We used natural wreaths and logs, and used minimal wire to make them.
Some of us experimented with jars and even used a potato as a base for the arrangements.
We all made come of these hexagons. Having chosen a colour pallet, we beavered away making the hexies, and then a few ladies joined them all together using the jpin as you go method.
A lovely project that has been gone to a good home, and the money raised went to charity,

We decided to have another go making Earrings, using silver plated wire.
This was a really easy thing to do, and looked so effective.
We also made some stud earrings, but completely forgot to take photos
